Mostly it is described as “An activity that you do for pleasure when you are not working.”  I find myself inspired by so many things, and they are then reflected in my beadwork.  In addition to it being a “learning environment”, it has also been a journey of discovery – I love beading!  It works the mind and helps develop abstract thinking. 

An old axiom proclaims: “Doing what you love is freedom.  Loving what you do is happiness.” For some people like me, both are true. I’ve taken a personal hobby and turned it into a small - but very enjoyable - business.
