I have Graves and on Methimazole. Had RAI in Dec 2015 Bc my thyroid was so huge. . Still Hyperthyroidism. The med helps but after I had the RAI I've had lot of jaw pain. Just passed month it had gotten real bad pain and my throat having cramps on left side. Went back to Dentist yesterday. He doesn't know what's wrong. Being sent to a ENT so maybe He can figure out what's up. Has anyone had jaw pain after Radioactive Iodine done ? I'm real Ucenter Dress wedding outfits made of silk ... ly kinda scared. Cancer from the radioactive iodine maybe ? It hurts so bad I nearly cry. Pain pills all can do for relief . I have app coming with new Endo Bc my old one stopped taking my health ins. So ENT til get N see her.All on left side of jaw and throat.. Ty for any info . Also it's swollen on left side. Teeth are ok. Dentist didn't think it was TMJ either. He had NO Idea. That's scary.
