Here is the Cordele Centennial Band doing "Goody-Goody" in about 1992. The singer is Joneen Kirk, trumpet is Jeff Ellis, trombone is Dick Bissett, tuba is Anthony LaPorte, bass guitar is Charles Ruis, and I'm playing banjo. It was a banquet at the Holiday Inn on 16th Ave. Another song featured Lesli Hughes when she was 11 singing "How Yo Gonna Keep 'Em Down On The Farm After They've Seen Paree." She wore a white dress and sang beautifully. Lesli sang a lot with our band when she was a little girl. She had her own red vest with her name on it..
