Still in our subject of discussion, referring to *The Concept Of Marriage*. We saw yesterday how Eve became Adam's wife. I remember vividly that I was going to show one of Adam's statement, many don't have accurate knowledge about.

That statement is found in Genesis 2:24, Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

Many translations have actually misinterpreted this powerful statement issued by Adam. Adam said. Because of Marriage, a man not a woman, a man will leave his father and mother and shall cleave unto his wife and they shall become one flesh

The Word Cleave in it's original contest does not mean to join as many translations puts it. The word translated *Cleave* in Hebrew means *to chase after*. In other words. For the sake of marriage, a mature man will leave his father and mother and chase after his wife. And as a wife you must remain chaseble.

The challenge in our days is. Most women when they get married, they stop doing those things that attracted their husbands. Before they got married, they use to smell good, dress cute, look so beautiful and behave excellently. But as soon as they get married. It seem the beauty flew away few days after the wedding, their character automatically change, the man is like is this really the woman I got married to?
